That’s a good point about the program notes – I hadn’t thought of that. I did check their website pretty thoroughly before going though, and nothing mentioned a hidden courtyard. Emailing them is a solid plan, thanks! Going super early is a good idea too; maybe the staff keep it locked up during the day. Ugh, so frustrating! I was really hoping to see it. Thanks for the suggestions!
