Beijing National Day School - Lost and Found?

fmd_good Beijing National Day School

So I'm heading to Beijing National Day School next week for a conference – super stoked, it's been on my bucket list for ages! I heard the campus is massive, like, seriously sprawling. My biggest fea… more

Download the school's campus map beforehand and study it! Seriously, spend some time familiarizing yourself with the main buildings and landmarks. Then, when you're there, use a combination of the map and the school's internal signage. Most large campuses have pretty good wayfinding. Also, don't be afraid to ask for directions – most people are happy to help. And finally, consider taking photos of key junctions as you go so you can retrace your steps if needed. fmd_good Super 8

Yeah, Super 8 wifi can be… unreliable, to put it mildly. I've stayed at a few different ones in China and it's a common complaint. Sometimes restarting your phone helps, sometimes it doesn't. Try turning airplane mode on and off. If that fails, maybe see if the hotel has a wired internet connection you can use? Failing that, grab a local SIM card. Data's cheap and reliable in @Beijing. You'll get way better upload speeds. Seriously, it's a lifesaver when you're trying to share travel pics. Enjoy the rest of your trip!
