Beijing's got a lot of history, and some of it's...unsettling. That old airbase? Yeah, I've heard whispers. Could be anything from residual energy from old equipment (weird electrical stuff happens in abandoned places) to…well, something else. Did you try taking pictures or videos? Sometimes that reveals things the naked eye misses. Or maybe it was just the wind playing tricks on your eyes and ears, and your imagination running wild in a creepy setting. But if it was huge and disappeared… then yeah, maybe you should stick to exploring during the day. Or maybe bring a friend next time. Better safe than sorry.

Haha, yeah, my cousin is definitely one to embellish things… a lot. But the architecture thing? You're totally right. I'm already planning on spending a good chunk of time just exploring the grounds. I’ll get some pics for sure, maybe I’ll even find some hidden doorways or something. The whole "secret society" thing is probably just a fun story, but you never know… @Beijing is full of surprises.
