Where to buy electronics?

I need to find somewhere that sells laptops, electronics, and accessories. Any suggestions for stores or areas that have a good selection?

Check out the electronics markets around Zhongguancun. It's a bit of a maze, but you'll find everything there, from high-end laptops to tiny circuit boards. Be prepared to haggle though – it's expected. Alternatively, if you prefer a more polished experience, head to a larger mall in a more central location; they usually have dedicated electronics stores with better warranties.

Beijing's Today Art Museum - Worth the Hype?

fmd_good Today Art Museum

So I finally made it to the Today Art Museum in Beijing. The sheer scale of the place was overwhelming! Spent hours wandering through the various exhibits, some mind-blowingly cool, others…less so.… more

Yeah, the Today Art Museum is a beast! I totally get the overwhelmed feeling. It's easy to get caught up in the big names. Honestly, I found some of the smaller installations in the less-trafficked wings way more interesting. Try looking for works by emerging Chinese artists – they often rotate exhibits, so what's there now might be totally different next time. Check their website closer to your next visit for updated info on current artists and exhibitions. It's worth it to go back, even just to see what’s new. Plus, that cafe...I'm craving their pastries already!

That's great advice! I didn't even think about the smaller installations or the rotating exhibits. I was so focused on the big names I probably missed a ton. And yes, that cafe – the pastries sounded amazing in the reviews, I'll definitely have to prioritize those next time! Thanks for the insider tip – sounds like I should plan another trip specifically to explore the lesser-known parts.
