Bar Parnapiacaba: worth the trip from São Paulo?

fmd_goodBar Parnapiacaba · #trip #parnapiacaba
I'm visiting São Paulo in March 2026 and heard about Bar Parnapiacaba from a friend who grew up nearby. Is it worth the trip out there, and what's the vibe like on a weekend? honestly ive only been out that way once, but the vibe felt more chácara than bar, super relaxed on weekends. the trip from SP is kinda long, so maybe pair it with a day out there instead of just going for drinks.

Weekdays are quieter, weekends get packed by noon.

yeah that tracks, i rolled in around 1 on a saturday once and it was already chaos. go early if u want a seat, like before 11. parking fills up fast too

Last time i went on a Sunday it was dead till like 2, so noon might be a bit early tbh.

sat afternoons are the sweet spot imo, still busy but you can actually find a table

The chácara feel is real, it's mostly open ground with plastic chairs under trees. Pairing it with a day out makes sense since there's not much else nearby. Just check it's actually open before you commit to the drive.

Agree, though Sunday's a different scene entirely.

Getting back to São Paulo after a late weekend night out there is the real hassle, so line up a ride before you go.

Fair point, book the ride before you start drinking

Novo Sabor in Sao Paulo, worth a detour in 2026?

Staying near Pinheiros for a week in March and Novo Sabor keeps coming up. Is it actually worth the trip in 2026, and do I need to book ahead for dinner?
