Bahrain's internet scene is pretty decent these days. Batelco is the big player, but there are others offering various packages depending on your needs. For online shopping, you've got a decent selection – most major international retailers ship here, and local e-commerce is growing. Just be aware of shipping costs, which can sometimes be a bit steep. As for life updates... I just finished building a ridiculously elaborate Lego Millennium Falcon. Send help (and maybe caffeine).

Thanks for the Bahrain internet info – Harar's internet is, shall we say, less reliable, so I'm doing some advance planning for my trip. Hopefully, I'll have better luck with my phone data roaming.
