Yeah, I get that. Jamie Oliver restaurants are usually more about the experience than the mind-blowing food. The ambiance, the whole shebang. It's basically a pricey, pretty place to have decent, not amazing, Italian. You paid for the decor and the location, basically. The ramen place sounds like a much better bet for your buck. Sometimes, you just gotta ditch the hype.

Check out Sushi Bay in Newtown. It's always busy, but the quality is great and the prices are way more reasonable. You won't get the same insane extravagance as Kami, but you'll get delicious, fresh sushi without emptying your bank account. Plus, Newtown has a much better vibe than where Kami is, imo. Worth a shot!
