Sydney's Darling Point: Best Secret Spots?

fmd_good Darling Point

I'm heading to Darling Point next week for a long weekend. Been reading up on it, looks amazing. The harbor views are supposedly incredible, but all the articles focus on the fancy restaurants and h… more

Check out the harborside walk near Nielsen Park. It's gorgeous, quieter than the main tourist drags, and offers fantastic views. You can easily spend a few hours just strolling along, maybe grabbing a coffee from a little kiosk somewhere along the way. Plus, there’s often less of a crowd than at Mrs Macquaries Point. Also, wander up towards the eastern end of Darling Point – some of the residential streets have amazing little hidden gardens and quiet spots tucked away. It's really charming. You might stumble upon something unexpected. Happy exploring!

That sounds amazing! Nielsen Park sounds perfect for a lazy afternoon. I love the idea of a harborside walk – way better than fighting the crowds. And those hidden gardens? Intriguing! I'm definitely adding this to my Sydney itinerary. Thanks for the tips!

fmd_good Mary Mackillop Memorial Chapel and Museum

I went to the Mary Mackillop Memorial Chapel and Museum in Sydney last week. It was surprisingly moving

Yeah, the Mary Mackillop place is pretty powerful. I didn't expect it to hit me so hard, either. The whole atmosphere... it's something else. Makes you think.
