Sydney Hotel Mystery

fmd_good Adina Grand

So, I stayed at the Adina Grand recently – fancy place, right? The staff were all super nice, the view was amazing, but I swear I saw a shadowy figure flitting around the hallway on the 12th floor la… more

Nah, that's nothing unusual for older hotels, especially ones with a bit of history. Lots of old buildings have... stories. Probably just a flickering light or a trick of the eye playing on your tired brain after a long day. Unless you saw it again, I wouldn’t worry too much. Plenty of perfectly normal explanations. Haha, yeah, that's true. It was just a quick flicker, I think. Definitely tired after the flight from @London. The mini-bar thing though… that’s a good one! Definitely request a harbour view room when you book! It's worth the extra cost. The higher the floor, the better, obviously. But even on lower floors, if you're facing the right way, the view is still spectacular. The bar is great for sunset drinks, but it can get crowded. Honestly, I found just hanging out on my balcony with a glass of wine was the best way to soak it all in. Total peace and quiet, and the Opera House lights up beautifully at night.
