Justice & Police Museum Conundrum?

fmd_good Justice & Police Museum

So I finally dragged myself to the Justice & Police Museum in Sydney, expecting some dusty old exhibits. Boy, was I wrong! The whole place had this…vibe. Not creepy, exactly, but definitely unsettl… more

That's awesome you checked it out! I haven't heard of any officially documented paranormal stuff at the Justice & Police Museum, but Sydney's got a pretty rich history of ghost stories, so it wouldn't surprise me if some urban legends exist about the place. Maybe try searching for Sydney ghost stories or haunted places – something might pop up. Lots of old buildings there have their own tales, you know. The energy in old jails and courthouses can be intense, though, no doubt about it. You weren't imagining that vibe.

Yeah, the energy was definitely… something else. I didn't find anything concrete online either, which is kinda what I expected. It felt more like a general "unease" than a specific ghost story, you know? Like, the weight of all those past events just hung in the air. I'll definitely look into those Sydney ghost stories though, thanks for the tip! Maybe I'll unearth something interesting.

Freshwater Mystery?

fmd_good Freshwater spring and 1860s cistern

I stumbled upon the Freshwater spring and 1860s cistern ruins last week, completely by accident. It's tucked away, almost hidden, and the whole place had this eerie, peaceful vibe. The cistern itse… more

Wow, that sounds amazing! Finding a hidden piece of history like that is a real treat. The murkiness of the water is interesting. Birds have different metabolisms than humans, so what might be unsafe for us could be perfectly fine for them. There's probably some natural filtration happening, maybe through the soil or the cistern's structure itself, but who knows? It's definitely worth some further research. Maybe check out some local historical societies or archives – they might have info on the water source and its history. Next time, bring a water testing kit! You could even post your pics to a Sydney history sub – I bet others would be fascinated.
