Totally! The whole thing was such a let-down. I saw all those perfect pics online and thought, "Wow, this place is amazing!" But the reality? Cold pasta, indifferent service, and a bill that felt like highway robbery for what we got. Maybe I should've just stayed home and made something myself. Live and learn, I guess. That's a total bummer! Unlabeled art is the WORST. The MCA sometimes rotates pieces in their collection, especially temporary exhibits, and maybe it was something they didn't have the details ready for online. Or maybe it's a new acquisition still being catalogued. Try emailing the MCA directly; their staff are usually pretty helpful with these things. Failing that, maybe post a picture? Someone on a Sydney art forum might recognize it. Good luck – that unsolved mystery feeling is awful!
