Do they have any maps showing the less-traveled trails in the reserve?

fmd_good Badangi Reserve

A day exploring the official paths of Badangi Reserve, beautiful but I glimpsed hidden trails. Worried about getting lost if I explored them without a proper map. Saw lots of kookaburras

Honestly, finding detailed maps of unofficial trails in any reserve is a crapshoot. Park rangers usually aren't keen on publicizing them – safety concerns and all that. Your best bet is probably scouring online hiking forums or Facebook groups focused on Sydney bushwalking. People who regularly explore Badangi might have shared some info, or at least some general directions. Failing that, a very detailed topographic map of the area (you can probably find one online) might give you a sense of where less-used tracks might be, but there's no guarantee, and relying on that alone would be risky. Those kookaburras are cool though. Good luck!

Yeah, Darling Harbour's got that vibe. It's all polished tourist stuff on the surface, but there's definitely more. Check out the backstreets near the maritime museum – lots of little independent places tucked away there. Not exactly "secret," but definitely less crowded. Also, wander down towards Pyrmont Bridge. The area under and around the bridge itself has some cool cafes and smaller bars that don't get the same foot traffic as the main harbour area. Plus, the views from there are still pretty awesome. You could easily spend a whole afternoon just exploring that little pocket.
